Curstina Jennings
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC)
Curstina Jennings is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP- BC). Her initial experience was in an inpatient acute admission ward at Central State Hospital where her experiences include advanced comprehensive psychiatric assessments in forensic and working in outpatient long-term care facilities. She was head of a treatment team and collaborated with others team members to formulate a master treatment plan. She observes behaviors in patients to identify any significant adverse reactions or patterns and utilizes psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to treat mental health disorders. Curstina’s academic background includes completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Norfolk State University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at Walden University.
Curstina’s passion has always been about giving and helping people of all ages, following her dream she can provide professional services in the mental health field by delivering holistic care to individuals and their families. Curstina philosophy of care provides three objectives to all individuals and their families, including empowering her patients with education, protection, and respecting their privacy.
